Steeds vaker hoor ik in mijn omgeving dat mensen zich zorgen maken over de toestroom van migranten, en ik denk dat die zorgen terecht zijn. Maar zijn de oplossingen die aangedragen worden door de politieke partijen niet gewoon rechtdoorzee oplossingen om de partijmacht te verstevigen ipv. de vluchtelingen echt te helpen? Ik hoor maar heel weinig personen zich afvragen hoe het kan dat mensen bereid zijn hun huis-en-haard achter te laten om een zee over te steken in een gammele boot. Hoe weinig hoop heb je in je moederland dat je bereid bent je leven in de waagschaal te leggen? Zijn wij als Nederlandse volk niet voor een groot gedeelte zelf de oorzaak voor de uitzichtloze situaties waarin deze mensen zich bevinden in hun moederland?
Kort geleden las ik het boek "Een wolkenkrabber op de savanne’’ van Koert Lindijer (ISBN 9789045046129), hierin vertelt hij hoe geheime diensten vanuit de Westerse Wereld zorgen voor verdeelde politiek en chaos. Welke belangen spelen wanneer het gaat om de grote grondstoffen roof in diverse Afrikaanse landen. Welke rol het IMF speelt bij de machtspositie van de vele machtspartijen.
Misschien zijn het juist de NGO’s, Multinationals en onze politieke leiders, die wij zo ondersteunen, die uiteindelijk zorgen voor het feit dat mensen het risico nemen een gruwelijke verdrinkingsdood op te lopen.
Wanneer durft het volk op te staan tegen zijn eigen machthebbers en te stoppen met het leegroven van het Afrikaanse continent.

I hear more and more people in my area that they are concerned about the influx of migrants, and I think those concerns are justified. But aren't the solutions put forward by the political parties just straightforward solutions to consolidate party power instead of really helping the refugees? I hear very few people wonder how it is possible that people are willing to leave home and hearth behind to cross a sea in a rickety boat. How little hope do you have in your home country that you are willing to risk your life? Are we, the Dutch people, not to a large extent responsible for the hopeless situations in which these people find themselves in their mother country?
Recently I read the book "A skyscraper on the savannah" by Koert Lindijer (ISBN 9789045046129), in which he tells how secret services from the Western World cause divided politics and chaos. What interests play a role when it comes to the large-scale robbery of raw materials in various African countries What role the IMF plays in the position of power of the many power parties.
Perhaps it is precisely the NGOs, Multinationals and our political leaders, whom we support, that ultimately ensure that people risk a horrific drowning death.
When will the people dare to stand up against their own rulers and stop plundering the African continent?
