EUROPEAN STREETS
As a Dutchman I am part of the small European continent and I enjoy to travel through it, often without even having to show my passport.
I can live anywhere in the EU wherever I want. I can choose to live in Bulgaria or in the top of Finland, we have the freedom to settle anywhere.

I can get on the train and have a good drink in Italy tomorrow or eat a curry sausage in Hamburg. I am fully aware of these freedoms. The writer Stefan Zweig described a comparable world in his last book "the World of Yesterday" only  this was before the First World War. After the decline of the Habsburg Empire and the rise of facism throughout Europe, those freedoms disappeared and travel was no longer self-evident. Stefan Zweig tells impressively how his reality disappeared into darkness and gave way to a dark world in which people lived full of fear and hatred.

How long can I continue to travel like this? England has already turned itself away from the European continent, which countries will also return to their shell in the future?
